On Monday, residents of Karachi experienced a tremor as an earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale shook various parts of the city, according to reports by Express News.
The National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC) provided details, indicating that the earthquake originated at a depth of 22 kilometres. Its epicentre was situated 15 kilometres northeast of Karachi. The impact of the earthquake was notably felt in areas such as Defence and Clifton.
Eyewitnesses described scenes of concern as frightened residents quickly recited prayers and sought safety outdoors. Despite the alarming situation, there have been no immediate reports of damage to property or injuries to individuals.
