DualSense controllers in new colors have been launched by PlayStation. In addition, the company quietly updated the tool, fixing the problems buyers had been experiencing.
A number of players who spent $60-$80 on the controller had been disappointed by some of its shortcomings, including analogue sticks that did not work properly and caused drifts without the player’s intention.
With the update, however, many issues have been fixed. Nova Pink, Galactic Purple, and Starlight Blue are some of the classy colors of the new range, but it is also engineered to avoid drifting.
YouTuber TronicsFix compared the older and newer models sharing that the newer model had thicker springs. This change can make the device more durable. The modifications may also impact Sony and Nintendo positively considering they have lawsuits filed against them for hidden defects in their products.
iFixit, a veteran channel that has been analysing tech for a long time, claimed that PlayStation, Nintendo, and Xbox controllers have “a long history of predictable, preventable issues”.
