After more than a decade, Pak Suzuki may announce a new Swift next month. According to credible sources, Suzuki will launch the Swift in Pakistan, combining a 1250cc K12C dual-jet in-line 4-cylinder engine with a 5-speed CVT or manual transmission.
Despite the fact that the Swift has a 1000cc turbo engine like the rest of the world, Pakistan appears to be getting the 1250CC version.
Further, Swift had a displacement of 1395cc before, and owners had to pay a higher token tax, which had an impact on sales to some extent. Customers in Pakistan will now profit from the 1250cc engine displacement due to the lower tax rate.
The hatchback is expected to cost between Rs. 2.7 million and Rs. 2.8 million, as per reports. In addition, the majority of Pakistanis prefer sedans to hatchbacks since sedans have more trunk room.
However, to prove that the new Swift is a beneficial addition to the local market, it must be offered at a competitive price. According to sources, Pak Suzuki is certain that the new Swift will be well received by local automobile buyers.
