Fawad Hussain condemned attack on Parliament Lodges

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has condemned the attack on the Parliament Lodges in Islamabad by a group of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) workers.

In a tweet on Thursday, he said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s armed group has reached Parliament Lodges to put pressure on parliamentarians.

He said the opposition will fail in its no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister.

The Minister said that the Speaker National Assembly has directed the Islamabad Police to take strict action against the facilitators of these groups and they will be dealt according to the law.

Meanwhile, PTI Women Parliamentarians have strongly condemned the attack on Parliament Lodges in Islamabad by some non-state forces.  

Talking to media along with Maleeka Bukhari and Noreen Ibrahim in Islamabad on Thursday, PTI leader Kanwal Shouzab said that the opposition has started spreading chaos in the society.

She said the session of National Assembly will be convened on requisition of the opposition.

Maleeka Bukhari, on the occasion, said Prime Minister Imran Khan is the voice of the nation and we are united to support the Prime Minister.
