Imran Khan, Prime Minister of Pakistan, met with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of People in Beijing.
The PM praised growing Chinese investment in Phase II of the CPEC, which is focused on industrialization and boosting people’s livelihoods.
PM Khan addressed President Xi on his government’s initiatives for Pakistan’s sustained growth, industrial development, agricultural modernization, and regional connectivity, as well as a people-centered geoeconomic vision. He praised China’s ongoing help and support for Pakistan’s socioeconomic growth, which has benefited immensely from the high-quality development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
