Pakistan is going to experience rainfall this week due to the arrival of westerly winds in the country. The same weather system has already caused significant rainfall in several other countries, including Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, Iran, and Yemen.

As per the predictions of Pak Weather, which has the country’s most extensive automated weather station network, this weather system is expected to persist from March 16 until the first week of April, with various regions of Pakistan likely to be impacted.

As Ramadan is approaching, the inhabitants of Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan are set to benefit from the anticipated rainfall.

This development will be welcomed by the locals who have been battling with high temperatures. Although temperatures have already soared, the arrival of westerly winds is expected to provide relief from the scorching heat, and temperatures are likely to decrease significantly from March 20 onwards.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), during the initial ten days of Ramadan, the majority of the country is expected to receive rainfall. Nevertheless, the remainder of the holy month is predicted to have high temperatures throughout the nation, as cautioned by the PMD.
