WhatsApp working on New features; Community tabs, pause/resume voice recording for Beta Testers

A feature tracker shared details of what WhatsApp is doing regarding a new tab for its upcoming Community feature, which would show all the Communities that a user may be part of. The messaging service is developing a feature that will allow group administrators to add specific groups to a ‘Community’ where they will all be listed together.

Additionally, WhatsApp has begun testing the feature of pause/resumed voice recording on Android for beta testers.

the Meta-owned messaging service is currently working on a new tab for its Communities feature that is under development. Spotted on the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.6.9, the new tab replaces the camera tab at the top of the app.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp is finally allowing beta testers on Android to pause and resume voice recordings on the latest beta version. Android users who have signed up for the beta version of the messaging app can update to version 2.22.6.9 to try out the new feature.
