Shab-e-Barat to be observed in Pakistan today

Shab-e-Barat will be observed across Pakistan today with religious devotion and respect.

On the occasion of Shab-e-Barat, ceremonies and Nawafils will be organized in small and big mosques of all the provinces of the country.

On this occasion, scholars, orators, and speakers will explain the virtue and importance of Shab-e-Barat. Children of Islam will also fast in honor of Shab-e-Barat.

In their homes, the children of Islam will perform night vigils, Nawafil and Zikr, as well as special worship services. On this occasion, mosques, shrines, and sanctuaries have been decorated with electric lamps.

In addition, cleaning and lighting have been arranged in all the cemeteries across the country on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat. Flowers and flower petals are being delivered to the flower market. Shopkeepers selling flowers in different parts of the city are buying flowers from the market of Teen Hatti. On this occasion, the price of flowers has increased three times as compared to last year.
