The 31-year-old, Simon Leviev have become an overnight sensation after the Netflix documentary. Now, he has been making plans to cash his capabilities to release a brand new dating platform. As per the source, the dating app con-man has reportedly met with LA-based supervisor Gina Rodriguez and has officially become her client.

“I was intrigued with the Netflix story. I saw the world’s greatest salesman,” Rodriguez said in a statement to Los Angeles. “But it left me with a lot of unanswered questions and was very biased. The duo has a bunch of plans to parlay Leviev’s new Netflix fame into profit and an entertainment career. Leviev’s dating show would have ‘women competing for his love.

He is also in talks for a podcast where he shares his dating ‘dos and dont’s’. After the documentary, Leviev was banned from all dating apps and he later also deleted his Instagram account.

The Tinder Swindler, which premiered on Netflix on February 2 and quickly became a hit, details how Leviev (one of many aliases Hayut assumed) claimed to be the son of a diamond mogul in order to woo women on the dating app and con them out of money. While it’s not clear how many women he swindled, the documentary estimates that he collected about $10 million all told.

How much money did he steal? An estimated $10 million, according to The Times of Israel. Hayut would evade repayment by cajoling, threatening and otherwise stalling his victims: He made a habit of sending increasingly unhinged WhatsApp voice messages, even sending one to the filmmakers when he learned about The Tinder Swindler’s existence.
