KARACHI: A Karachi-based robotics company has developed a multi-grip bionic arm that mimics natural limb movements at a cost one-tenth the cost of a prosthetic.
Bioniks Private Limited introduced the product with the purpose of manufacturing effective and low-cost robotic prosthetic limbs in the market formed by Anas Niaz and Ovais Qureshi in 2018.
In a video interview with German broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW), Anas and Ovais discussed prosthetic hands and how they benefit people who are missing an arm or both arms.
