The news comes only hours after Pakistan’s envoy to Azerbaijan, Bilal Hayee, announced that both nations were planning to resume direct flights in the coming months.
“We expect to restore and begin direct flights between Pakistan and Azerbaijan within the next few months.” This will be a significant step in bringing the peoples of the two countries closer together,” a Pakistani diplomat told News.az on Tuesday.
He stated that direct flights would be available between Baku and Pakistan’s major cities.
