A week-long Anti-Polio drive inaugurated by Sindh CM

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah inaugurated the week-long anti-polio drive at the Chief Minister’s House in Karachi on Friday by administering the polio drop to the children.

The drive will formally start from Monday across the province including Karachi.          

A target has been set to administer anti-polio drops to almost 10 million children under the age of 5-year in 30 districts of the province. Seventy-thousand anti-polio workers and ten-thousand anti-polio supervisors will take part in the drive. The drive will continue till the 6th of next month.

Meanwhile, in his statement Chief Minister Sindh requested the parents to come forward and administer anti-polio drops to their children and cooperate with anti-polio teams. He also sought the cooperation of the media in the anti-polio awareness drive.
